Rankings are determined by the SEO work you do on and off of your website.  This is a large conversation, but the short end of it is this: rankings are determined by many factors that as webmasters, we have no control over - like your competition, your niche, your service area, your budget, etc..

Lets say your competition has been investing (both time and money) into their optimization for 2 years.  All in all they have over 800 hours and $8000 worth of SEO work in those 2 years.  In order for someone to come along and outrank them, they will have to have better SEO.

You wouldn't be able to build a new website with less optimization and expect to outrank your competition.

This doesn't mean that you would need 800 hours or $8000 worth of SEO work or that you'd never be able to catch up - it just means that the quality of SEO work done must be better than your competition so you can outrank them.

There is no magic number that will get you to rank organically on the first page of the search engines.  It varies from business to business and niche to niche.

There is no way of 100% knowing how much quality SEO work your competition has done.  This is why I recommend you only go with the SEO set up option only if you fully understand that SEO is an ongoing process that you may conquer quickly or not at all.

We came up with our SEO version selling price because we have found that it is a nice foundation for MOST small businesses to rank.  However that does NOT mean you will rank with our SEO plan.  We can never guarantee that.

You should look at the SEO version as an investment.  One that you may need to grow and nurture.

Another way to look at this is you are receiving the selling price amount of SEO work.  For example, you are receiving $3997 worth of SEO work since that is our selling price.  We could charge any selling price and do SEO work for that amount since SEO work is literally never-ending (ex. $10,000 price point).  We picked the current selling price because as we just mentioned, it seems to be the right number for most businesses to get a result.

If this makes you feel funny, that's ok.  We totally get that it's a large investment for many businesses and we are not really doing a great job at selling it!  But we are a very honest company and always want prospective clients to know what they are ordering and what to expect.

The SEO plan has many fans and happy customers.  Just look at our success stories!  The SEO plan can easily pay for itself if just a few leads become customers of yours.  Ranking at the search engines is worth the SEO set up fee to many, many businesses.
